Video capture and streaming – Route du Rhum

For the 12th edition of the Route du Rhum-Destination Guadeloupe, organizer OC SPORT and production company NEFSEA entrusted us with capturing several live events in Saint-Malo and Guadeloupe, as well as streaming them on the race’s various platforms.

Teams from 6ème Sens were on hand in Saint-Malo to capture the images as the boat passed through the lock, 2 days before the start of the race

Then it was on to Pointe à Pitre, where over a ton of equipment was sent to ensure the daily live coverage on Infosport+, and the finish of the race. We set up a set and a mobile video control room at the ACTe memorial, the race’s new finish location since 2018.

For live coverage of the finish, we had several speedboats with HF cameras and a relay plane. Other Aviwest-type 4G equipment and a drone completed the set-up.

The International signal for the TV channels was sent to SERTE via a 50M0 fiber.
